Has anyone had their first service yet? I've booked mine in for 20th March and want to get prepared just incase I need monies. I've had a look at the tyres and they seem fine, unlike the tyres I had on my MG as I had to get a new set yearly (which was apparently better compared to my brother with the same tyres, his was every 4 months or so) lol

They did it along with the SS kit installation so it was for free for me! :)

My first service was in June 2009 - everything was fine, didn't spend an extra penny! :)

Lucky! :( Was there anything they needed to change though? Obviously you were having the essesse kit put on, however would there have been anything changed if you weren't having the conversion?
I'm only asking as I am only temping at the moment and might be unemployed soon again, so might not be able to afford extra charges :crying4:
EDIT: Just realised, you probably wouldn't have had anything changed as you haven't done much mileage yet lol

Yesterday I had my first service, which brought good and bad news....
Everything they check in the service list was A-OK, and I asked them to check the tracking as it has been veering to the left since the bad weather and the atrocious conditions of the roads since then (where is our road tax money going to?!).
When they had finished they told me that they didn't check the tracking as both my front alloys are buckled..... :crying2: I can understand this for my passenger side, however not sure when the driver's side could have buckled

Indeed it will be expensive :( I believe they are £297 + VAT each  And I need new front tyres soon as they're at 3mm and 1.6mm is when they become illegal, which would be probably about £180 for two... I think I'll have to leave the car parked for a while until I can afford it all (poor car :()
