500 spotting

Been noticing an awful lot of 500 Learner cars in my area this past week, and so far only one of them has been BSM - they're all mostly independent driving schools. And on the motorway yesterday, sitting in the worst traffic ever after an accident further down the road, I was stuck next to a lovely 500 Abarth for some time.

I rarely spot another 500 here! I know that during -08 and -09 382 cars have been sold in Finland and a few have been imported privately. That´s not a lot, but one could think that actually none were sold just by judging how rarely you see one! It must be one the most exclusive cars here still, but not if you compare it to the Mito; only 30 of them sold here last year!

Here I see 500`s pretty often now:( So I dont feel very exclusive anymore.... I think I see atleast 2-3 each week! But luckily there is no jive blue ones:icon_thumleft: Most are BNW, some red, some black and every now and then a cha cha azure. Abarth`s are very rare to see, as they are not sold in Norway:(

I see quite a few 500's around here (seeing as there is a dealership nearby :p) However one thing I have noticed... THEY'RE ALL MISERABLE!!! I look at them to get ready to wave but they just blank me :eek::(

LOL this is the same as me all though in my area it's old ladies that i see driving them....not so cool!

In Spain there are a lot. I usually see some every week here in Valencia. Last week I saw a truck loaded with ten 500s. In the upper side there were 2 Abarth in white with red decals. The rest of the 500s were all in white colour.
I'm sure the truck was loaded in the Valencia port, and it was driving to the south in Spain. As there are only 4 official Abarth dealers in Spain (Bilbao, Barcelona, Valencia and Sevilla), I suppose the truck was going to Sevilla dealer.

By the other hand, at least in my town there are no 500s, only mine. I'm lucky because there is a Ford factory in my village, so everybody has a Ford, but not me. Ha,ha!

toooo many in Greece, I see at least 2-3 Abarths every day and 10 plus from the other models, and that is only in my neighborhood, most of them in white, its fanny when there is 2-3 waiting at the lights side by side biggrin2

Not 500, but atleast it`s Fiatlol I did see the new Punto evo for the first time today, not too sure whether I like it or not.......... Interiour was great tough:icon_thumleft:

There are a lot of 500s in Germany but not where I live. I still meet seldom another one. Most times I wave at the driver but they don't answer. Often I think the driver should know he has got a special car, for he's got a "500" on the numberplate, but they look straight forward. But sometimes there is someone waving back, and this brings both of us a big grin. biggrin2

All Abarth drivers here wave back, Punto and 500 :)
Not all the standard 500, I stop wave at them because my hand get tired, to many standard 500.... lol

I can't believe it! Someone in my town has bought a 500. Mine is not the only one now. And the worst thing is, that it's been parking in the same street where I live since yesterday.
The best thing is that maybe if I see the owner, I could start a friendship and tell him or her about this club.

The 500 is white and Lounge and I have taken a photo with the mobile phone just 1 minute ago.It's the second one starting by the down side. Sorry for the bad quality!

I love that color, but it is one of the colors which have been discontinued:( Just look at PeterO`s car and I am sure you will change your mindlol

Hej, that's exactly what I wanted to write when I read what Losty posted. I'm pleased with that weird orange more and more. And take a look at Lefteris' new Challenger - nearly the same fine colour. Or plum Crazy's Charger.
