My wiper blades are getting a bit noisy against the windscreen any ideas? The rubber is not braking up,I clean them regularly, next step is replacement.
Has any body had similar problems and what's the cost of new blades.
I was wondering if it was the screen wash concentrate...........John.:(

Somehow this too seems to be a problem on right hand drive cars, the blades juddering across the windscreen. There has been a lot of discussion about this on british fiat forum, and I remember someone telling he had swopped his blades to VW Golf GTI blades, which are similar in size but not the flappy models the 500 has. This had cured the problem.
But, it has been said in many occasions, that giving them a little time to adjust has made the problem go away too, so if you just wait a while and see how the behave.

I have noticed that if my windscreen isn't very wet and I use the wipers, they almost 'drag' across the screen as though they are quite tight against the glass. I've just got into the habit of not wiping my windscreen too often, unless it's very wet or very dirty!

Same here. I try and leave it 'til there's enough water for the blades to wipe off before I use them, or squirt the windscreen so it doesn't make that horrible noise across the windscreen

I used Autoglym Car Glass Polish on my Pluriel last week, which seems to have cured the problem for now! :clappinghands:
