10.00 Start in Oberhausen, down the Autobahn to Cologne, up to 200 on the speedo. Slowing down in Cologne because of road works. In the Eifel slow cars, drivers looking at the beautiful landscape in spring.
12.00 Arriving at the Nürburgring, right to the start of the VLN-race. Watching from section Flugplatz.

15.30 The race was redflagged because an heavy accident.

16.30 Meeting a group of Italian Abarth 500s.

18.30 Back home after a partly real fast drive, speedo up to 200 again. Wiping away the insects.

19.00 Heard the news that in the race accident an Aston Martin driver had died. Sad end to a fine car-day.

Looks like a fun day:icon_thumleft: Sad about the Aston driver tough:( Did you really get your 500 up to 200km/h:eek: Well I guess it is possible, since I got my 1,2 pop up to 170km/h on the Autobahn last yearlol ( actually it was Guttemamma who did it, I was just holding on;) )

No, they are both Italians. They look quite fresh after just passing the Alpes and racing the Autobahn :D biggrin2 !
