Some days ago, I was drivng my 500 and a noise like ssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhh started to sound inside the air ¿holes? Sorry I don't know how are called the holes where the cold or heat air exit.
The sound was coming from the compressor. Two days after, the air conditioning didn't work and didn't cold the air.
I went to the dealer and they recharged the gas of the A/C with a fluorescent liquid to help them find the place where it was happening the loosing of gas.
5 days after, the A/C again starts to don't cool the air. Again to the dealer. They find the place, and it's a hose which is loosing the gas in the joint.
They ask for a new hose to the central of spare parts in Valencia city. Today, one week later, after suffering every day at midday, temperatures between 35 and 42 ºC and arriving every day at home sweating with all my clothes full of sweat, the dealer calls me this morning.
They say that the person on the central of spare parts, has taken holidays and some of the pieces required by some dealers have not been served because this man missed the papers and simply took holidays.:icon_thumright::confused::mad::duh:
The problem: I have to wait until next monday to the arrive of the hose.
The big problem: In Spain we are having actually temperatures around 35 or 40 degrees, which is unbearable.
My first solution: Calling to the Fiat attention to the client phone number based in Madrid.
Just 2 minutes ago, the dealer calls me to tell me that a second recharge of gas to the A/C is not covered by guarantee and I have to pay 35 €.
I have told them that I'm not interested in paying for the recharge and I inform them that I have called to the Fiat attention client number.
I have claim at least, a recharge of the A/C.
Now, the dealer is informed about my claiming and I am waiting a solution or an answer from Fiat.
My intuition says me that I am going to be the weekend without A/C.:mad:
The bad fame of incompetence that Fiat has in Spain is turning to reality with me. I'm very angry! And the worst of all is that this situation is making that I have took a dislike to my 500.:crying4::crying2:
