Difficult to see the licence plates but I would say New Zealand since cjay says there ain`t many 500`s in Australia. And guessing from the police cloths it is in a warm climate........

Hi
Once while traveling to Portugal there was a police man in such a uniform waving me to the side and asking me money for a small 186 km/h.
I had slowed down already a lot due to the radar detector but not enough to get to the allowed 130.biggrin2
The uniform's look French to me although they have no Baguette under their arm neither a bottle of red wine.
Police is written Police in France.
The license plates look German to me, N as first letter should be Nürnberg.
Greman Police cars are grey with green on the sides or white with green and the script is Polizei. German Polizei uniforms are green.
I know them well too.:(
I suppose it is a fake picture as for French police there is nothing else than French cars and some exotics like Subaru Impreza to stop the busy drivers.
Maybe I find back the picture of the one they wrecked on the highway near Reims.lol

Hi again:
I checked on Wikipedia and it seems to be Australia.
They have the possibility to get Victorian European style license plates, apparently as option.

Youre right, if you look close enougth you can see the VIC logo thing on the left hand side of the plate. CJ should get one, it would fix his drilling problems lol

It's from down here, the car is in NSW, Sydney to be exact. They have all sorts of odd cars, they even had a Lotus Exige  which made people wonder how fat cops got in and out of it. Mind you they had more chance of catching people in an Exige than a 500 Pop lol

Many years ago Luxembourg police had received 2 Ford Sierra Cosworth.
The first one they smashed during their drivers training and the second one didn't live long either. lol

My daughter saw a 500 used as a Police Car in Sydney Australia recently.
When we were in Italy we saw couple of 'Smart' Police cars - or is than an oxymoron like 'Military Intelligence'?

Very nice lol
Some years ago the police force in the Netherlands started to use two Porsche 911's in their war on drug running. They too had police livery, so they weren't very subtle. Apparently, the Dutch police were inundated with applications from people wanting to join up!

Somehow I don't think that moped would be able to catch much.. Maybe it's for the elderly who break the speed limit on their mobility chairs lol

I've seen them break the law in them, driving on the road 'cause they think they're a car! One old guy got lost and decided to drive the wrong way on a small motorway lol
