They have confirmed today from the U.K that me and my friend will be getting 2 abarths of the first 200 that will arrive in the beggining of March in the U.K.
That means i will have to say goodbye to my 1.4 sport 2rrow :mad: as it will go for sale.
For the record my friends abarth will be SS.
Cant waiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!!!!!!!!!

Question if your location is Cyprus, how are you going to get the new baby from the UK ?

ok lets get back to business lol,
I bought the car for 13468 sterlin pounds excluded vat.The car comes with red leather seats 17'' alloys , and red scorpion on the front bonet + climate control.
As european citizens we are allowed to buy cars from Great Britain and the car will be registered with export plate numbers and vat will be paid in my country!!
I had placed a deposit and 2day they confirmed that we are in the list.
As simple as that!!.
Have in mind that we have ordered 2day a third abarth for another friend!!

Mine is now more than 20 days late and it drives me crazy.:banghead:

BUT they called today to confirm that they are going to pick it up tomorrow morning.
Paperwork should be done tomorrow afternoon and delivery, if everything goes straight will be Friday afternoon.:dance:

If tomorrow after work there is still time left, I will pop by at the dealeship and check if I can take a picture of it.biggrin2

Hi,

I think it will take them a few more weeks to know more about the kit.
The confusion if there are shorter suspension springs in the kit came from the fact that the Box on the pictures shows the Punto kit and there are (red) springs in the box.
Why are they showing such pictures as tuning kit in relation with the 500?
That is not too honest what they are doing there...or did they only use the wrong picture by "accident"??

Of course the box looks better with springs and people can read the list of parts but still....:confused:

I have received today from the U.K dealer the final price as well as delivery date.
Delivery date first week of March, will take another week to place the decals, and then straight away placed in a container ( 2 abarths and 1 ss) to be shipped in Cyprus.That will take two weeks approx.I believe we shall be having our abarths by early April.
Bear in mind that Abarth will arrive officially in Cy by next Sept - oct.
My car is Boda Nova white with the following extras
1.automatic dual zone climate control
2.auto dipping Mirror
3.17' 10-spoke alloy wheels
4.stripes &red mirrors
5.red Scorpion
6.red leather seats
7.Red Chequuered Roof.

Can I be nosy and ask what the final cost is ? Obviously, you will not be paying VAT as it is being shipped abroad. Also, what is the cost for shipping?
Finally, should you want any 'extras/spares/etc' get them to put it in the car before shipping.

:cool: that you are getting your Abarth five months before they get to Cyprus, certainly will turn heads.

Have you asked the dealer to take photos during prep and loading into container? Certainly be interesting.:icon_thumleft:

Hi, Cadbury,
Yes, i will not be paying vat so the finall price GBP is 13690 with the extras mentioned earlier.
The only thing they will put us the chequered decal.One of the three friends who ordered the Abarth is a permanent U.K citizen (eventhough he is exporting his ss to Cyprus) therefore as soon as the cars arrive we will have pictures to show.
Regarding shipping we are waiting for a quotation from the U,K dealer but i know for sure that we can fit the 3 abarths in a 40ft container and that will not cost much approx 2500 euros.
