I'm new on here. Just part exchanged my BMW and ordered my TwinAir 500 yesterday. Can't wait to take delivery at the end of March/early April.

I was wondering how people mount their phone in 500. I also read in other 500 forums that there are few who are experiencing problems with using iPhone 4 with Blue&Me. Has anyone here experienced issues using iPhone 4 and Blue&Me?

I've just ordered a Brodit ProClip from holdersandmounts, and Herbert Richter iPhone 4 holder (http://www.holdersandmounts.co.uk/herbert-richter-apple-iphone-4-passive-holder.html) with an adaptor (http://www.holdersandmounts.co.uk/herbert-richter-adaptor-plate-self-adhesive-to-male-1483.html).

I like the fact that the clip is mounted on side pillar. How do you guys mount your mobile phone in your 500?

I keep my Nokia phone in my pocket with the bluetooth on. And it connects with the car automaticly when I turn it on and I never have to touch the phone. It doesnt read the text messages tho, but that might only be because I´ve never really set it up to read them. I recon it wouldnt be very understandable anyway since the B&M Lady doesnt speak finnish...

I use the fiat one the goes into the cup holder next to the USB slot simply because I like to listen to the music on my iPhone and don't want the USB cable trailing across the car, I had loads of problems with my iPhone with regards to listening to music in my previous car but in my new one its ok as all cars since 2010 have updated software and iPhones play flawlessly now without the need for an adapter at least mine does, never had any probs with making and recieving calls, but like others have said you can't read text messages even though the lady speaks English!

My phone doesn't do fancy things like Bluetooth (its a Nokia 1600, veeeeery basic, just phone, nothing else). So I don't make calls while in the car, which is just as well :-).
My MP3 gets dropped into the cup holder/ash tray thingy and connected via USB, and I use the voice controls to switch tracks. Works fine, except that the lady making the menu announcements can hardly be heard at 100 km/h on the motorway.

In the spot where you placed your phone mount, I put my GPSr mount (small handheld Garmin Vista). Is your phone mount magnetic? Clever solution, that side pillar mount.
