I was playing around on ebay and came across this cable that allows an ipod to be directly connected to the stereo with out blue and me. It seems to make sense as the stereo has an auxillary input with out the Microsoft software. I was thinking of calling the dealer to see if they can do it? I was just wondering if anyone else has come across it before?

Mmmm... dunno Ewan.

With MINI's you could use the plug in the back of the stereo that was used for the CD stacker and make your own cable to plug an ipod into it and it worked fine. This may be something similar

Ill devise a solution, I was using MP3 CD-R's , but its a fairly clumsy solution, my car is full of CD's lol.
