Saying goodbye to my 500

Went in to my dealer yesterday to book it in for it's second service while I was in there the salesman asked me if I wanted to sell it and have a new 500 for less money a month went home to think about it and went back today with the wife and ended up buying a alfa mito 1.3 jtm sprint for £55 extra a month , got a really good price for the 500 . Will be picking up the mito on the 1st of march

Congrats! It´s not a bad change from a 500 to a Mito. The Mito, despite looking all Bob-the-Buildery at the front, is a handsome car and I bet the 1.3 diesel is really economical too!:icon_thumleft:

It,s a 1.3 JTD sprint in blancospino White . The sprint is a Turismo with a few extras blue & me rear spoiler alloys front fog lamps cruise control . They only come in red White and blue . I got a really good trade in for my two year old 1.2 sport I am really going to miss the 500 but I have always liked the mito and the wife hates the 500

She has never liked the way the 500 looks she likes the way it drives so when I said I had had offer on a new 500 she was on that happy and I must admit I drove the twin air and did not like it at all I found it to harsh and the MPG is not that good the 500 JTD is not on the offer that fiat are doing and a 500 JTD is not far of the price of the Mito . So I went for the mito , if I find I do not like it the wives Seat will be coming up for changing later this year so she can have the mito and I will go back to a 500

All done today signed all the paper work and got the reg number so 9am 1st off march I say goodbye to the 500 :( and hello to the mito :)

Will do , I will see if I can get a pic of the 500 & mito together at the dealers ,I am going to be really sad to see the fiat go sort of having second thoughts now but it is to late now :confused:

I suppose that´s quite normal! Ofcourse you get attached to your car during the ownership and it´s kind of sad to let go of such an individual little thing as the 500!
