Hello my 500 Friends!

So last weekend, I was at my buddies house. He has a 1986 Dodge Charger which he has transplanted a 2.5 liter turbo monster of a motor into. So, we decided to get pics of my "new school" turbo Dodge, and his "old school" turbo Dodge:icon_thumleft:

Here's what happened... enjoy :icon_thumright:

Thanks Wrecky!

Yeah, that Charger is pretty much a Dodge Omni with just two doors and a different front fascia. That one pictured probably puts down 400 torques to the ground!

And yes.. The Ronel Turbos look amazing on any eighties boxy vehicles.

My first new car was a 1982 Dodge Omni 024 Miser. I paid $5900 for it but the loan was 19.8%. It was navy with the optional blue cloth interior, it had rear window defroster and tinted glass as the only other options. I had the dealer add a Spark-o-matic AM/FM 1 speaker radio made specifically for this car for a hundred dollars. It had a VW engine and it got 48mpg.
I wish I had that car now with gas the way it is.

Almost too light, all the weight was is the front, two people could pick it up from the back.
The back would hydroplane before the front and spin you around if you hit a big puddle on the freeway. I think it was even lighter than a Fiat 500 but it did not have power steering or air conditioning. The dash was one round dial in a square box surrounded by lights and a fuel gauge. It had the dashboard from a Simca.
