Hi,

I'll be ordering my Abarth next week and I've a problem with choosing it's color.

It must be white but I've option of White Gara (pastel white, code 268 or White Iridato (pearl white, code 270) which is additionaly paid. I've seen Gara White on GP Abarth but I've never seen that pearl one. Could you post some picture of 500 in this pearl color for me, because not knowing how it looks like I cannot tell if this one:

http://www.500fans.com/picture.php?albumid=33&pictureid=283

is pastel or pearl? :)

:welcomeon500: Sir!
You should go for the standard white, like the design Lefteris got(with sunroof:)) Take a look at his car, it looks so good.
The pearl white in my opinion dosen`t look so good on a Abarth.
Congratulation with your order to be:icon_thumleft: How long delivery time do you expect in Poland? After all it is built there:cool:

I'll take standard white (Gara White) with red Abarth stickers (red mirrors and door stripes), sunroof, automatic a/c, 10 spoke 17", audio hi-fi system and blue&me map preparation. As I was told, it should take someting about 10 weeks from formal order to delivery.

One more question. Could anyone post some photo of A500 with black leather seats? I could only find red version but I'm pretty sure that it's available in black.

Ordered! :icon_thumright:

There're 3 Abarth dealers in Poland, and 9 cars sold since November with 4 of them sold by my dealer. From tomorrow there will be new (higher) price for all the Fiat cars including Abarth, so today my order for 500 was third, and one of them was ordered to Sweden - I think that 500 Abarth and Grande Punto in Poland are much cheaper than anywhere else.

Now I need to wait something about 10 weeks (but I was told that it should be 6 to 8, so the 10 weeks waiting time is maximum), take something about 2-3k km and order SS kit (1-2 weeks waiting time, and 1 day for fitting).

Thanks for help :)

What is the prices on the 500`s in Poland?

frytol
26th February 2009, 17:24
Standard Abarth 500 costs 60k pln (polish zloty), which is about 12766 euro (based on today EUR/PLN quote). SS kit costs 7.5k pln, which is ~1600euro. Of course you can get some discount from your dealer.

sunroff - 2500pln - 530euro
leather - 4000pln - 850euro
pearl white - 3000pln - 640euro

Grande Punto Abarth is even 1k pln less than 500 :).

In other words it would cost less to order the ss kid from Poland if shipping costs are reasonable!!!

We are all in EU, so even if the shipping cost is 200 euros, the total will be 1800 euros!!!
We have to check on this!

I think that shipping shouldn't exceed 100euros. But what about fitment? Wouldn't your local Abarth service make you some problems when you'll deliver them your kit for fitment on your own? If not, I can give you contact to my Abarth dealer :).

Hi,

This looks unbelievable cheap for the kit but I don't believe that the dealer from Poland will be allowed / able to sell it directly to private customers without fitment.
The Kit comes according to the Abarth mechanic at my dealership, without any program in the new ECU.
According to him they have to send all kind of data from the car where the kit is installed to Fiat prior to the work, inclusive readout of the old ECU learn values and even a compression test should be done.

I don't know if this is true or if they are just telling stories in order to justify their reason for beeing.biggrin2

I wouldn't have any trouble to install all of this by myself except the programming of the controller but Fiat wants to keep control of it.

I'm interested to hear if we could manage to get this done.

Greetings:

I wish I was living in the EU! Maybe things would get cheaper here too...
We have all the drawbacks of the EU but none of the good stuff......

Well I live in the eu but still there are import taxes for example for cars. But I guess that I would be able to buy something like the ss kit from another country and import it here without any problems. I think Finland must be braking some eu regulations when ordering us to pay import taxes on a (used) car that has allready been taxed in some other eu country!

We have the same problem here but only with cars and bikes, everything else is free of import taxes if they came from inside EU....

An small example of the differences in the prices from country to country:mad:

Abarth in Norway costs about 300 000 NOK = 33600euros

Abarth in Sweden
http://www.blocket.se/vi/20545414.htm?ca=7_s
Costs 179000sek = 140000nok = 15680 euros!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:
As I said: I wish I lived in the eu!!!!!!

This place in Sweden is just a couple of hours drive from where I live(40 minutes to the border)
