Rear Screen Wash

The rear screen wash on my 500 has stopped working. When I press the lever I can hear water trying to come out of the front windscreen washers but none of it gets to the rear screen.

I suspect that it's blocked but how would I clear the blockage. The water jet is very difficult to see as it's black and faces down and I can't get my head in the right position to see because of my varifocal lenses in my glasses.

If I took it to a garage would they charge me an arm and a leg??

Or anyone got any bright ideas?

PS I'm a girl so make it simple!

The hose to the rear water jet is probably fallen off an t-piece just in front of your torpedo wall! It is a common fault and no big deal really! The dealer will fix it in just a couple of minutes, and if they are just a little service minded they wont charge you for it:) Good luck:icon_thumleft:

Thank you for that information. Is it something I could get to? [I'm an oldish lady but quite handy].

I wanted some advice so that when I go into a garage they don't look at me, rub their hands together and think 'oldish lady - we can charge her an arm and a leg!'
