I managed to brake one of my alloy wheel center caps when I was changing my winter tires on last autumn... Does anyone know where to get these (online)? My dealer will cladly sell me on with a pricetag of 23 euros for a cap with a chrome ring and 25 euros for a cap with a red ring. I was thinking of getting the red ring ones for my red car, but I think 100 euros for a set of plastic caps is too much. But if anyone knows where to get them cheaper, I would be happy to know. Or if you know where to get the Abart ones, even better!!!

When I was changing my wheels I discovered that 3 out of 4 centercaps for my winther wheels were damaged even before I tried to put them on...
The factory had used force to push them on and the small platic arms on the backside of the caps had broken... I discovered this as soon as I took the cardboard protection off.

On my summer wheels 2 out of 4 was destroyed, This I discovered when taking them off before wheel change:mad:

Went to my dealer which gave me new ones:icon_thumleft: They had a box full of old ones which were destroyed... They told me that they had given away one or more to all theire Fiat 500 customers....
Basically it is just an example of really crap quality:eek:

Apparently they brake very easily!!! I found a couple set on ebay, and even one set of Abarth ones. I´de rather buy them from a parts dealer than an auction though.

Suppose I am luck then :) When Cadbury had a puncture they came off easy without breaking

It`s not a problem really if you are carefull taking them on and off, especially on. Do not use force just push them gently on and make sure it is in perfect center of the wheel:icon_thumleft: And try not to do it when it is cold outside, the platic brakes more easily then:)

While I got my car serviced couple of weeks ago they cleaned my rear brakes too and therefore took of the rear wheels. Today I went to tighten the alloy wheels and found out, that they had broken another clip from the same wheel. Now its held on only with two clips. I contacted my dealer via e-mail and voilá, 20 minutes later they call me and tell me that I can pick a new one up! Now thats good and fast service I have to say!!!
