My first car was a 1969 Fiat 500 bought for £25 (wish I had her now !)
Then Suzuki SJ 410 - literally rusted at the seems
My tonka toy came next, Land Rover Defender... she got stolen and never recovered.
Replaced with another LR Defender, but had to sell to pay for my divorce. Cried more at its going than I did for my ex.
Bought a Fiesta as a car to get me from A to B. 42 tonne lorry side swiped me and wrote her off.
NOW.......... my sweet little cube of chocolate 'Cadbury'biggrin2

NICE!!!!! But I think I would have had some problems fitting two kids into that onelol. Do they come with a hard top also? For cold conditions or is it just a car for the warm season?

Yep, the Elise was very impractical. You can get a hard top for them but they are $6,000 which was crazy. It never gets cold here anyway :D
The 500 is much more comfortable as well :)

Here are some. To be honest I have to wait for a while (hopefully a long while) before these are mine since they are my fathers cars. He´s quite the collector and he has a barn full of old cars, mainly italian cars that is.

My last hobby car: 1961 Opel Rekord p2. I really miss it:mad: Sold because of the new law that made it impossible to have children in classic cars without modern seat belts. I had seat belts but they were original and only in the front seats. I did not want to destroy the original interior with modern seat belts.....But I guess the law makes sense cause these cars with 2 point belts ain`t very safe in a collision.....:(

Actual cars:
Opel Vectra B Caravan V6 2.5 (the one that will be replaced) was our family car for 11 years and made it 7 times from Luxembourg to Portugal for summer vacation.
BMW 330D Touring with M style pack Another daily driver. This one is mostly used by my wife. Made it already 2 times to Portugal. It is a great car with low consumption.
Mini 40th anniversary from 1999 I had to get one before they finally stopped the production. Is only used during summer time that's why it only has 35000 km. It cannot been driven with salt on the road as it will just rust away. For me it is the most sporty car on earth after a Porsche 911. At least you feel the speed (and the street ouch).
Porsche 911 C4 3.6 from 1989 That one I bought in 94 with only 35000 Km on the clock spending all my saved money and before beeing married and before having a child. We made it 3 times to Portugal with it during summer time, paying speeding tickets in both directions. Suggested to my wife that our son must be named Ferdinand but she was not too positive about that. It will never be sold, except for a new one.
Motorcycles:
Ducati 900 SS from 91 Has now 15600 Km and I must admit that I am not driving a lot with it. I made during the first year about 8000 and the second year 4000 Km. the other 3600 Km I made them during the following 15 years.
Honda Monkey Z50 Was also a must have. I bought it 3 years ago. It is an original Honda and not a Chinese repro. They still build them in Japan but they are not officially sold anymore here in Europe. There is a shop in Germany that still imports them. I had to make a special licensing over here in Luxembourg to get it street legal as it has no European certificate of conformity. This is the the same procedure as for US import cars and trucks. (And it cost the same fees). I made more kilometers on that one during the last 3 years than with the Ducati, exactly 1200 Km. During winter time I park it in my house just in front of the bathroom door on the 1st floor. My wife is used to it...
To come now, hopefully before the end of the month: My new 500 Abarth. Grey outside with Estetico kit, 17" and red leather. Actually it is my wife who bought it for me and it should be my Christmas present and probably also the birthday present for quite a while. So apart if she is asking for forgiveness for something that I still ignore, I suppose that things are still ok after more than 11 years of marriage and 17 years of living together.
Previous cars:
Porsche 911 SC,
Porsche 911 2.7 Targa
Opel Astra 16V GSI 150HP
Opel Corsa A GSI
Opel Corsa A GSI facelift
Pontiac Fiero GT V6
Mini 1000
VW Porsche 914 (+ 5 more for spare parts that I sold to finance my own one during student times)
VW Porsche 914/6 (sadly was to rotten to drive, should have kept it)
Fiat X1/9
Mini 1100 Special
Beside these cars there is quite a collection of old timers from my father where I spend my free time on. He is collecting since nearly 40 years...
Le Zebre from 1913,
Ford model T from 1922,
Amilcar CGSS from 1926,
Austin Seven from 1932,
Sunbeam Talbot Alpine from 1953,
Triumph TR3 A from 1960,
Triumph TR7 from ?? who cares,
BMW 520 from 79 (left over former daily driver),
Opel Omega 3000 24V from 1990 (left over former daily driver),
My sister's Mini Cooper from 97 that I am rebuilding now, dented back and front and rusty between..lol
