So I get an IM from my friend Erik today and its a picture of Fiat 500 :eek: in San Diego :eek: 5 miles away :eek:. So I rushed out doing touching triple digits on the freeway. It was at the Art Institute of San Diego, the it was lounge Bossa Nova White with Tan leather and ivory interior. With Mexican plates, all pops and Lounges come with duallogics, only the sports come with 6MT. As you can tell I freaked out :icon_thumleft:

If I was you id avoid duallogiic, go for the six speed, automated manuals are destined to fail. lol . If you go on fiat forum, someone drove one from new york to san fransisco for charity.

What a great day! I remember the first time I saw one like it was yesterday. I couldn´t believe my eyes since the 500 wasnt even on sale here back then, but when I went to talk to the gentleman driving the car he told me he had bought the car from Italy because he didnt want to wait weather or not the 500 was coming to Finland.

Here´s a celphone pic. Sorry about the crappy quality, but the picture and the moment it represents are very important to me!:D The second picture is the second 500 I ever saw and this time I had my camera with me:

It's actually the 2nd one I have seen. I saw the that drove from NY to SF. It is sold in Mexico, this one is from the Mexican state Jalisco (home of Tequila), which is probably 800- 1000+ miles from San Diego.

The first 500 I saw was parked at Tescos... I just had to go and chat with the fella who was sitting it in... not realising that eight months later I would be test driving a 500 because of my accident. Oh yes, moments that are never forgotten ;)

The first time I saw a 500 it was a black one in Athens and the same day I saw 2-3 more!
The first Abarth I saw it was mine! biggrin2
