FIRST Test DRIVE A500 VS SS 500 IN CYPRUS

Dear friends,
As you know we have imported in Cyprus the first SS and A500.Last night me ( A500) and my best man ( SS) went for dinner.Parked our beauties outside the restaurant and ofcourse our discussion was mainly on issues regarding our Abarths.Having finished our dinner we thought of testing the two cars on the motorway.It was 10.00 pm so no traffic atall.
We thought of starting our " race " with 2nd gear 3000rpm.I was impressed as the Abarth 500 was slightly faster that the SS.After we reached 160km SS passed in the front only a car in front.We tested the two cars starting with 2nd gear and 3rd gear as well many times.
Overall the SS is slightly faster, definetly wouldnt spend 3000 euro just for an ECU remapping as i believe in due time we shall be able to remap our ECU.As for the suspension ( ss ) is very hard and can make great use of that only if you race in a track.
Anyway we had great time, at all time of the race we had our phones on and believe me it was very nice of those who were watching us.
After we went for a drink to a very nice bar and on the way it reminded me of the Italian job ( for those who saw the film) as we parked the cars face to face.

Thanks for the info, this is why I dont put the SS kit on, I may go for the ECU remapping only as it is already available here from the dealer for 800 euros only! ;)
BTW some nice decals are on the way for your Abarths! ;)

Please keep me posted for remapping the ecu because i am interested as well.....Let me know when available so i can send over my ecu for remapping!!!
Believe me i was very dissapointed on the SS performance ( bearing in mind that its 3000 eu) and alloys have no character.I think my friend Marcos is dissapointed as well.Lefteri beleive me with 2nd gear changing to 3rd i was slightly faster, and we had to go over 160 to get in front and that we tested it many times....
