Yes, that was first! :icon_thumright:
Also the UK song was great, but too classic for the eurovision!
How much was the cost for a vote?
Here was 1.28euros by SMS!

:congrats: to Norway :icon_thumleft:

Jet lag caught up on me but I did wake to hear to song after the votes had been counted. With the new voting system, does the cost of the call go to 'good causes' ?

I cannot believe that spain could be in the position before the last one. Soraya did it great and I like very much the song. I still think that Eurovision is only politics. I'm very disappointed!:triste:

Why do you think Eurivision is politics? It is phone voting from the audience and voting from a proffesional jury from each country that makes the decission of who wins.:)

Both, I think its 50% Voters and 50% judges

In general, all the people know that Eurovision is politics in the last years, but i still watch it like if I were a boy, with the same illusion.
I have to say that this year there was a huge level of quality in the major part of the songs. The winner deserves the prize with his "fairytale".:icon_thumright:

Oh no, it starts again.......... I am not sure if it they are even showing the final on main TV in the UK any more, nobody cares about it anymore, that can be compounted by the horrendous choice of entry that the UK is fielding, apparantly they are rubbish as we dont ever want to host the thing :-S

I prefer to not mention the final of LOST. It is so dissapointing.

Regarding Eurovision, yesterday my 2 favourite songs passed to the final. They are Greece with the song ĦOPA!, very sticky, and the one from Iceland.
My 3 favourites this year are these ones mentioned and the spanish one, which I think it is very original.

Too bad about the people from greek "Star TV" who got caught steeling transmission signals AGAIN!!! They did the same thing last year in Moscow:eek: They where escorted by the police away from the arena during the semi finals....

Just watched the first minute of our entry and he was awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwful!!! Nothing like what's in our charts at the moment  This is what our number one is at the moment

Our better artists don't involve themselves with Eurovision anymore, so they find the lesser acts to present us lol

Hey Kertallica, the better artist never participated in the Eurovision Contest!
It has always been b- or c-class artists that went on stage there. Did Robbie Williams or Take That or Oasis or Blur or The Cure ever represent the UK?
I looked into this event yesterday, and each and every entry was terrible! Any choreography was sillier than the one before.
The winner was a cyber puppet with a sterile little song, but it was enough to make some simple minded germans drive honking through the night.

Even worse, this artificial singer will follow us for a long time whenever we switch on TV, at least in Germany.

Kertallica, you should be lucky that your representative will be forgotten since yesterday evening!

I thougth the German one was probably the best, that Turkish one was stupid, it is not Nu Metal at all , its soo lame its ment to look all goth and metally but it sounds like McFly!! Next year I think germany should enter Rammstein or Ommph that would be amaizing :-)

No they didn't, however you shouldn't forget Lulu. Yes she probably isn't that greatest of all time, but she was good and known before she won Eurovision (with three other countries) in 1969.

I will be able to forget easily as I didn't watch it lol I usually do but my tv aerial has not been working recently.
