A new member from Spain.

Hello!
I'm from Spain and i live in Valencia. I'm member of the Fiat 500 Spanish Club and moderator in the club. I'm a member in the club since last year and I have a Fiat Sedici which I sold last week. I have bought my Fiat 500 in "pasodoble red" color with engine 1.3 mtj model Lounge with the wheels model 433. I always liked the cha cha cha blue, but the delaer have great discounts (aound 2.000 €) in the Fiat 500 in stock. So I decided to buy one of the stocks. I will be receiving my 500 his week between Wednesday and Friday and I'm very nervous.I wish it coulbe Wednesday just right now! Ha,ha!

I have thought in some names but in spanish. 500 in spanish is "quinientos", and in the spanish 500 club we use to call it "quini". I have also have thought in "bolita" (little ball), pulga (flea), chiquitín (small in nice words), and my favourite is "Rayo McQueen".

Yes, very easy, it is not completely straight, is a little bit curved with the same shape as the bonnet. In the box, there is also a paper with instructions.
I did it in 8 or 10 minutes.

Congratulations Ville! Your car will look amazing:icon_thumleft: The crome on the bonnet looks much better than the a-bar I am afraid. The a-bar looks a bit too cheap and plastic! But you did not hear that from melol

Well you have the first hand knowledge, Thomas, since you have both on yours! I think you were right when you said that 500 looks best when loaded with all the chrome bits! But I have to consider the a-bar, Im not sure about it at the moment.

I have done some changes in my 500. I have put the A-bar and I´m waiting for a chrome stick from Italy which says "Nuova500". I also changed the bulbs for blue color ones which make a more white and clear light at night.

Mine is made of metal and is not self-adhesive. It also gots two metal pins on the back side which needs cutting away before attaching with some 3m body tape....

And yes I need to get it done soon, but I am just keeping forgetting about it:(

Thanks to Villev amazing pictures, I have decided today to start learning how to do HDR pictures. I've been testing today and this is my first result.

That´s the way to go Pethead!:icon_thumleft: Just look how deep the red is on the first photo, especially the side of the car!:cool:

When taking hdr photos it´s quite essential to keep the camera steady and not move it between the shots, tho atleast EasyHDR allows you to manuallly allign the photos. It´s also very challenging to take hdr photos of moving objects, and simply to take a hdr photo where there are some moving elements like people, waves, trees or bushes on a windy day etc.

I succest you also learn how to use some kind of photo editing program to deapen the colours, to adjust the curves and contrast, to remove digital camera noise and so on. I know it´s an endless task to learn all things related to photography, and I too have only scratched the surface so far!lol
