The 500s of Rodos

Here are some of the 500s I took a photo of while on holiday at Rodos in Greece last week. This was the first time I saw a ye-ye-green in the flesh but have to say I was expecting more from that colour. Yellow just looks nicer and nicer every time I see one and also the black one with red stripes was great looking car.

Greetings from sunny Rhodes island! +27 and sunny the whole past week, I couldnt ask for more!

During the last year or so the number of 500s had exploded through the roof!! I mean there was 500s everywhere, two or even three on one street sometimes and 500s parked next to each other! Pictures will follow as I tried to take one of every 500 I saw!lol

Ok, so here goes! I´ve never seen so many 500s in one week as I did in Rodos, maybe because it´s still quite a rare sight over here. During the last year or so the number of these cars had exploded and they were on every corner, and most of them dirty and dented...:rolleyes:

It´s almost like going to our summer cottage, it´s so familiar! And look at the photo where there are the red and white 500 in the same picture; there´s a sign on the background that says "Vassilis Poika, Suomalainen viinakauppa", which means "Vassilis son, a Finnish liquer store"! So you dont even need to know english to survive in Rodos...:rolleyes:

Not a very good thing when you suddenly can buy Koskenkorva in finish on Rhodoslollol But atleast that explains all the finish people in the karakoe bars....

On a couple of occasions I was very ashamed of being a finn! But then again, on a couple of occasions I would have been very ashamed of being a swede, dane, dutch or english too... Norvegians seemed to behave them selves this time!lol

I love the blue one! I agree the green one doesn't look great on Rhodos, but in the less sunny climate of Scotland it's one of my favourite colours!
Just a pity one cannot get the blue or the green one here anymore... :crying4:

PS, the zipper stickers look much nicer here than they do on the configurator!
