Ill never forget where I was when I found out about it :-( Its really sad, he looked like he was on an up after all the awful stuff he went through in the past few years, with the tour, and the re-release of thriller being one of the top selling albums of all time.

:(
X2:( Luckily I have experienced two concerts with him, many years ago.
A lot can be said about Michael Jackson, but there is no doubt that he has been one of the greatest entertainers the world has ever seen. I felt quite sad last night when I heard that Jacko had been rushed to hospital with cardiac arrest... I understood right away that we had seen the last of Michael Jackson as we knew him, even if the ems and hospital had successfully resucitated him.

He was a true legend in his own time, the same as Elvis, John Lennon, James Dean, Mark Bolen to name but a few.
Perhaps though his children will now have a near normal childhood, rather than being clad in face masks and veils.

I'm glad you got to experience him concert. A couple years ago I told my friend that we had to go see MJ next time he tours regardless of the costs. So this spring when news broke of the tour I decided we were going. So I purchased 4 tickets for any date I could find. I've never seen Ticketmaster so crazy, I ended up with tickets on January 12th, 2010. We were so excited to see MJ in person, being able to tell our grandchildren about seeing the King of Pop. As with the rest of the world I was heartbroken to hear the news of him passing. Needless to say, he will live forever.

I've always believed it might be a very strange thing to do, but with Michael never truly having a childhood, all he was trying to do was to give his children a life without all the cameras and exposure. Imagine trying to go anywhere if you were the King of Pop's children.. They would never have time to be themselves and play with no worries other than in their own home :(
