Hi everyone,

We picked the car up on 3rd July and have been smiling ever since! lollol Sorry no photos yet but we have had problems with the camera. Hope to sort it out soon and post some pics of the yellow peril very soon!

We are very pleased with the car but with just one little disappointment - we had ordered it with side rubbing strips and the 500 logo. We turned up at the dealer to find they were missing. The salesman said that they were not fitted at the factory and should have been put on when it arrived in the UK......... He said he would get some and have the car back to fit them. They duly arrived but not painted. My daughter has been to the dealer today to have them fitted (after being painted) only to find they were a very different shade of yellow to the car and the salesman would not fit them. They have gone back to the paint shop to see if the colour can be better matched - if not we will get a refund.

I find it strange that the side strips were not factory fitted. Am I being told a few porkies here? Any comments appreciated. Sorry for the long post.

Mine was definetly factory fitted as ordered. But they are also an aftermarket option:icon_thumleft:

Cadbury was at the dock when I ordered her but I ordered the rubbing strips, so they could possibly have been fitted afterwards.

My Stipes were aftermarket, I think they look better than the factory fit ones.
