hi folks,

greetings from Dublin. Have my car for a few months now - seriously attached. Getting upset re stains from "dirty" people on my checked car seats - trying to chill out re this but not really succeeding. Just figuring out the ipod/blue&me fiasco got to be able to play my tunes !!. Anyhoo I love my little beauty - I call her the Red Rooster.

Hey Shivers!:welcomeon500:

Every time I get dirt on my Bambina I get very upset, especially those silly little flies.

You'll find this forum lots of fun! Enjoy.

PS Post some pics!

Hi Shivers, I'm still waiting for my car - only another 6-10 weeks to go!!!! :(

Am thinking about an up-grade from Pop to Lounge - any advice would be appreciated? Should i or shouldn't i - is the difference worth the cost?

How much more is lounge compared to pop?

pop is £8.300 lounge is £9.700

Oh man, cars are cheap over there! Only 1400 pounds, 1633 euros, between them then! Go for the lounge, I would say. You get so much more kit with the lounge starting with alloy wheels, glass roof, B&M, leather steering wheel, aircon, etc. etc. that make the lounge much more better value for money!

Here the pop costs 13500 euros (11570 pounds), and lounge 16500e (14140 pounds), but if you equipe pop with alloys, aircon and B&M it allready costs the same as a lounge! And you would still be missing the class roof, rear seat that goes down in to parts etc.

Oh wow that's quite a difference!!! Perhaps you should buy the next one over here? Thanks for your thoughts - i agree the extras in the lounge far out weigh the extra cost, just got to sort out the finances now and will probably do the up grade - watch this space when i take delivery.

hi folks

i bought my car in Newry NI and from NW Kehoes garage- car came over from a garage in the uk so very little milage but it was technically second hand. Talk about service - they actually drove the car down for me so I could test drive it during my lunch break. Delira and excira as they say over here. Got the southern reg plates and VRT for 12 grand (euros).
I'd say I save easily 4/5 grand by shopping up North.
