Hi All.
My fiat 500 pop is just over a year old (april 08) with only 5700 miles.
Has anybody had a problem with the fuel gauge falling to zero with the warning light on.
My local dealer has replaced the submerged fuel pump/tank gauge unit in may09.
Since the replacement of the fuel pump the fault has only replicated itself three times.
Can anybody help with this problem.

Hi Tony

Try the info on this forum, it is for Punto's but sometimes Fiat uses the same parts on differnet models and your symptoms are the same so it may be worth a look:

I had a few problems with washer jets on mine (amongst other things), but, according to Fiat they are the same as on the Punto. So you never know.

Take care and good luck

Ania

Never heard of that problem, thougth the Fuel Gauge in fairly inaccurate, it can change from about 1/2 a tank to 1/4 a tank really quickly. If they have changed the sensor it could be a computer problem.

Hm Animo may be right, the 500 and Panda are the same car internally (apart from the body work) so it could be worth searching the panda forums..
