No waylollol It is a small world. I were in Almyrida in August....Lovely little place. Nice and quiet:) I also took pictures of that black one but I can`t find it..... I actually hope to back to Almyrida next summer because the hotel was one of the best I`ve ever stayed on in Hellas. I think I have been on different greek islands every summer for the last 10 years or so....lol

Lucky you:) I only go there once a year for a week or two...I think everything there is becomed a bit expensive compared to how it was before..Not like Scandinavia offcourse but still expensive:mad: But I love Hellas:D

If you want a new 500 it is just to pick your color and drive away:) These cars have been in the store since before christmas and is still there as you can see:confused::confused: Think the sales has gone down.......:(
But the black abarth they had is gone:cool: One dark blue 500 with Italian stripes was ready for delivery. I think those are the only 500`s they have sold since christmas.... 2 cars.....:(

I'm thinking in buying a good reflex camera because I like the photography and my actual camera is just a compact Canon Ixus 850. I would like a Canon EOS 450 or something similar.

Thanks again. I have EOS1000 at the moment and it serves me well. Quite happy with the quality compared to price of 400 euros! I also have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ7, which is more compact camera with x12 zoom.

Yes, its basicly like photobucket, a way to store images, but its more of a communal thing too. People join "pools" and post their photos on show and comment on other peoples photos. There are some very skillfull photographers there with amazing pictures!

A while back ago I bought a Sony Alpha 200 with stock lense, but it is probably way out of your guys leaguelol But we are qute happy with the pictures it takes, compared to our old compact camera( which is not bad either).
I am usually just using my phonecameralol But now my phone has died and the only reason I haven`t bought a new one is cause I am waiting for the new Iphone 3GS, and I did not like the camera on the old Iphone.
Ok, the new one is not great either:p But atleat it got 3mpx and autofocus which is better then the old onelol

I think Sony a200 is a perfectly fine camera for any non-pro photographer. Of cource its not in the professional league, but neither is my eos1000. I think taking good photos depends more on the photographer than the camera!

Honestly, only one bucket, but did use a wash mitt and loads and loads of water and car shampoo. As of the rest of the stuff you mentioned, I have no idea what you are talking about.;) Didnt dry it at all, since it was raining all the time and I had to drive home anyway so it felt like there was no purpose.:p

I know what you mean.....:( I washed the Bravo yesterday, but did not dry it off because of the rain:( It was just to get rid of the salt that where covering the sides of the car:(



Ps! Just dont tell anyone that I did not dry it off(but offcourse I did the whole nine yards when it comes to the rest of the wash: Foaming, washing with the right stuff etc..)

First time I ever sat in one was my own car at the dealers when it came four months after ordering. I´m just happy I fit in it...:D

Not actually, it´s just as clean as it usually is during summer time with everyday use. Somehow that red paint really shines on photos even though it´s not really really clean!

Btw, I´m thinking of maybe taping the roof black behind the class window. Or if not that then maybe getting some stripes. Options are original (looking) two "viper style" stripes in white from bonnet to the roof or Tributo Ferrari style grey stripes from bonnet to the booth. What do you think? Which one would be nicer, black roof or stripes? I know the stripes would spoil the retro feel but I´m kind of hoping to get some new visual aspect with this. Or maybe I wont do anything..

I think taping the roof will work if you also tape the A, B and C bars so it looks like it is a two-tone paint:cool: Or else I would go for the "Tributo Ferrari" style stripes:icon_thumleft:

Then you need to take three or more images each with different Av+/- setting (-2, -1, 0, +1, +2) so that you dont move tha camera between the shots. Then you just merge these photos together in program (like Easy HDR or Photomatix) and after that do some tone mapping with Photoshop, Paint shop pro or other similar photo editing program...:D Easy!

Yes, for sure you can do this with that Sony Alpha! Just go thru the menus and find where image bracketing is and set for example AV -2, 0, ,+2 and then put in on continuos shoot, so that if you press the shutter it takes more than one shot (in this case three). And with those computer programs it´s just trial and error type of learning...lol It´s a fun technicue and definitely makes photos look different and cool!

I re-edited this old photo from 2008 of a "tropicalia yellow" 500 from Crete and it really makes me think I should have gone for a yellow one myself! It´s just so sporrrrty!!!:cool:

Wrecky, my favourite 500 colour has been always the Jive blue. In fact, when I went to the dealer to buy my 500, I asked fot the Jive blue, but it was unlisted. The salesman tried to look for any 500 built and in stock in any spanish dealer, but no one had any 500 with this colour.

It happened the same with the ye-ye green. The third colour of my favourite ones was the cha cha cha blue or azzurro in italian, but there was no stok of this colour with diesel engine and I didn't wanted to wait until my 500 was built in Tychy. That's why I bought the red one, the 4th colour on my list of favourites.
If I had to buy now my 500. I will buy the new azzurro presented with the multiair engine, or a 500 c By Diesel in Jeans blue with ivory roof.

And I too like the Jive blue very much! I´ve never even seen one here, only in Greece. It was the other colour what I thought about when I ordered my car, but then in the end went for the red.

For me it's either the red or the Campovolo grey Abarth with red decor :) My GF was even convinced the grey was an option after seeing it at the Glasgow Abarth dealer on our holiday.

The jive blue colour is nice and it suits the 500 very fine. It is no longer available just like ye ye green, calypso orange and cha cha cha blue, all fine retro colours.

At the moment the colours that Fiat is offering for the 500 are pretty dull! Mostly different shades of grey. I say bring back jive blue, yeye green and calypso orange!!

I was to realyze my Abarth dream by shipping one from Germany or Netherlands etc, I would propably go for a red one with no stickers on it and then get some "dealers edition look-a-likes" from ebay! I really do like that Campovolo grey tho and red decals (and maybe seats) really make it shine!:cool:

Winter is kicking in and I´m back to the winter wheels again. Now that the studded tyres are two winters old they have quited down a lot which is a good thing! I think the look of the car changes completely with these wheels if you compare the look with those original 15" lounge alloys.

It´s amazing how much the 16" wheels make the car look better! They really make a big difference!!!:cool: The car is still lovely with 15" wheels on it, (offcourse!!) but with those 16" it just looks so much sportier!

I love Jive Blue too; I once went to buy a Citroen 2CV in a similar colour, but they'd just changed the colours and the new blue was just awful!! So I bought a beige one, and hated it so much that I went for a red one a year later!

Jive Blue was /is a great colour and sometimes I think I should have gone for it. Back then it was even one of the "free" colours!! Also cancelled calypso orange is a really nice colour especially with chrome extras, but having seen ye ye green a couple of times in real life I dont think it was the best. Or at least it has got to be very clean to look good.

Cha cha azure was cancelled earlier this fall I am afraid:( When it comes to ye ye green I quite like it as it gives a bit of the same retrofeeling which jive blue gives me! I had to pay extra for jive blue when I ordered mine, alltough it was not as much as for the metallic! But all "pastell" colors was a little bit more expensive than the BNW ones!

Ok, here it was BNW and Jive blue that were the free colours back in -08. I must say I´m not that bothered that Fiat cancelled cha cha azure, it never was my favorite colour. Too light for a blue, almost white in most lighting conditions.

Fiat really needs to come up with some interesting new colours! I did notice that there were some new (or returning old) colours in the background of some promo-pics of US spec cars. There seemed to be a green close to ye ye and some kind of orage too so we´ll see what kind of colours the US customers will get!

Here only BNW is free... I don't think I've ever seen Calypso Orange, but it sounds nice!

I can imagine Ye Ye Green not having been very popular, but personally I really like it. I see one regularly, and the Italian Flag badges look particularly good on it! It's true that this one is always kept spotlessly clean Ville!

Cha Cha Azure looks good on darker days, I think; on sunny ones it does look a bit pale! Still, I think I like it better than the new Volare Blue, although I've only seen it on photos so far.

But really the choice is very limited at the moment, unless you like grey, of which there are quite a lot different shades! :triste:
