don't know Cadbury, going to call dealer this week for an update I think.

Went to see a 3D film (my first!) today and in the car park was a 500 your colour I think; very milk chocolate, i must say. First time I've see one of them too. :icon_thumleft:

arghhh, phoned dealer today; got the "oh hello, yes, I was just about to ring you" yadda yadda, :whistle:

anyway, upshot is, delivery date of early Dec/end of Nov! :eek:

I got the feeling he was confirming my order of alloys cos order was only just going in, I actually placed order three weeks ago. :banghead::banghead:

I didn't ask about delivery status as there seemed little point; I'll leave that for the next call.

Ah well, all good things to those who wait, n'est-ce pas?

I only hope it arrives before tax and MOT are up on elderley toyota (at end of Nov & 9th of Dec!!)

Oh my word! That is a very long time. My dad ordered his at the beginning of June and they have said it will arrive in this country on the 14th September and he should get it 7-10 days after that. The tax on his runs out at the end of Sept and I think he is panicking.

(Guess I was really lucky with Bambina, I ordered her at the beginning of June last year and picked her up on the 28th June last year. I think that was only because I called Fiat direct and they were straight on it and sorted everything out. I have to say though if I was ordering again I wouldn't go with the same dealership, I got her from Bristol, the lies I was told were unbelievable!)

Never mind, the time will fly by and you will soon have your little baby, in the meantime welcome to the family!

also tell him you have been down the Royal Portbury Dock and seen one that looks just like yours whats the hold up!!!!!!!!!!!
seriously i had a 12 week wait and it seems an eternity but when you get it its so worth the wait :icon_thumright:

I've just been watching a re-run of Top Gear; the one with the long line of 500s in Notting Hill? They seemed to keep focusing on a lovely yellow one, or maybe I just kept focusing on the lovely yellow one....:icon_rolleyes:

Why ? Cos so many people went for a 500 in traditional colours i.e. white, red and yellow and loss sight of :cool: colours lol
