Hi all,

I was just wondering whether anybody knew how to remove the gear knob on the Abarth 500 and change it for a different one.

Thanks

Why would you want to change the gearknob?

I wanted to have my own little touch on my ABARTH without doing anything to drastic.

Thanks for the welcome..:icon_thumleft:

My abarth has the aluminium gear knob and adds a touch of class. Go well with the ally pedals and looking at the prices of these things on Halfords, they're not so expensive for nothing.
Also with time the leather gear knob will show signs of wear and will look poor. If you will be changing your car regularly this is ok, but for long term investment I think you're better off with the upgraded gear knob.

Or wait for the leather gear knob to 'wear out'... then replace it

I changed mine in my Bravo T-Jet. Installed Momo´s gear knob.
Simply lift up the top cover and there is one bolt. Open it, install
the new one.
