No info yet! Looks like McLaren is the only option left for him. Wonder what Kovalainen is going to do tho...

I guess he can afford a bit of a vacation before he decides what to do:icon_thumleft:

Definitely! Did anyone else see the salaries they released on all the drivers? Kimi is the highest paid currently by £27m more than no.2 in the list (£45m)

According to the Finnish MTV 3, no F1 deal for him this year and now
there are hard evidence that he´s joining the Citroen WRC- team.
Double the salary Loeb gets ...

Kimi has signed a one year long contract with Citroen and he will be driving for the "junior team" all 12 rallies that Citroen is taking part in (whole series excluding New Zealand). Sad if you ask me, I would have liked to see Kimi in F1 driving Mercedes. I bet he´s not coming back to F1!:(

We shall see what happens :) If he stays in Rally, that will take some time
before any huge results.
Kimi has also said to be interested in Le Mans ( wich is still under estimated
race here ) and even to go overseas in States.

I think all of these are still a huge step down from F1! And you´re right about the results in WRC. Maybe we can expect 5. or 6. positions in some rallies, but without others being unlucky I dont think Kimis going to be any higher.

Yes and it´s the first year for him with the rallying.
He seems to do everything in his way and that´s the way then lol

Honda pays for the Car that win the F1 world champ with the Brown and Mercedes name on it
Ferrari pays a driver to drive a Citroen WRC

Time will tell how Kimi does in WRC and if possible, the return to F1.
