At first I was also looking for the new Camaro, but IMO the design is too modern for a muscle car, the Challenger on the other hand, have this classic look and yet is a modern car.

Believe me, things are not that easy here also, in each country, people have their own problems, Americans thinks that they pay too much money for their cars, the same cars that we europeans pay from 3 to 5 times up .... the same for gas etc...

VilleV
9th November 2009, 13:39
28000 euros is what these cars are really worth, no way 50000 euros or even more! They do look really good but are in no way on same level with some premium brands in quality. Take the interior materials for example...

Those who buys these cars in Norway, dont usually put plates on them because of the taxes. They just buy them and use testing plates every now and then... Many buy them from the US just to sell them on, so they can make a profit... When the cars gets older the taxes gets lower, so in about 10-15 years they will probably get theire first set of Norwegian plates. But still more expensive than new in the US:(

It is not the prices really that makes me like Greece so much, it is more the slow/relaxed way of life in general and the weather and foodlol

We're located on the southside of Indy in Greenwood Indiana. Tom O'Brien Chrysler has been in business in Indy since 1933. Started out at Chrysler-Plymouth-Desoto and has just rolled with the punches as Chrysler Corporation has changed.

We have two Mopar locations: "Northside" (Chrysler-Jeep) on the northside of Indy and "Greenwood" (Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge), as I said..on Indy's southside. We also have a Toyota-Scion store but that's another forum.

Looks like our friend Lefteris has forgotten to update the '500' fans on his latest aquisition.....his Dodge Challenger SRT-8.

I don't want to spoil the surprise, but it's kind of like when "Elvis" show was over, they would announce "Elvis has LEFT the building...." :D

In this case, the "Challenger has LEFT the building...." lol

ĄCongratulations Lefteris! I think this is, in my opinion, the most beautiful car of your collection. It's really, really precious! I love it! :icon_thumleft:

I bring it home from the customs last afternoon and I don’t have number plates yet, so I only test it up to 100mph on my way home and it drives perfect, more photos and impressions on weekend !
Now, about the look. it was the first one I see in the real life, yes I buy a car from the photos, this is not the first time for me (the first one was the first FWD Alfa Spider and yes it was the first one in Athens Greece as this one)
The car I was told that it is large, well it is not large, it is huge.... biggrin2 thanks God it fits in my garage! :)
It drives like a dream and the power is always there, the seats are not a car seats, they are more like a chesterfield biggrin2
The build quality is the typical American one, the materials are good but the build quality is not up to Porsche or Mercedes standards.
The interior design is very base and I like it this way on a muscle car, it has all the electronics that you can imagine but still in the right amount and it is ergonomically correct!
The factory paint job on the other hand is the worse I have ever see on a new car, I have to deal with this asap.....
Now, how others see you on the road and their comments is something new even for me, there is no Porsche or Ferrari at this time that receive so much attention as this car did!
If I have to describe this car with two words?.... its a Rock Star car all the way..and for this and this along, it is the best car I ever had! :icon_thumright:

Thank you all :)
