View Full Version : Fiat 500 treasure hunt day

TJ Vickers (Shrewsbury and Telford Fiat dealer) organised a 'treasure hunt' for Fiat 500 owners, in part to raise money for the Severn Hospice (a local charity) :icon_thumleft:
Set off just after ten this morning, and got back to the dealership at about half past two. 35 cars took part, and travelled 106 miles - less if they cheated, more if they got lost! This was the second of what Vickers aim to become an annual event. Even more cars next year perhaps. At one point, I looked back and saw nothing but Fiat 500's, with one or two bewildered 'ordinary' cars in the mix.
Great way to spend a wintery Sunday, and a great mix of 500 models - no Abarth's sadly. I've added an album if anyone's interested in a few pics :)

Thanks chaps, it was a fun day. It's nice to see a large gathering of these little cars, I liked Pethead's pictures of his 500 meeting a few months back. :icon_thumleft:
The treasure hunt started about 15 miles from where we live, at the Telford town dealer, but the clues sent us back to our town. We were amongst five 500's at this point, three white ones and two red ones - one of these was a convertible. It became a sort of alternative 'Italian Job', but at much slower speeds lol

I'd like to go to Ace Cafe again. Perhaps when it's lighter in the evenings. We'll be able see all the cars properly and get some good photos :)
