Kimi Raikkonen is to enter the Arctic Lapland Rally in company with compatriot and fellow former F1 World Champion Mika Hakkinen later this month, it has been revealed.

Am sure that is just an other promotion game for the new team ;)
Mika and Kimi will make one or two races and that will be all!

Dont Fiat own Ferrari, its like that 500 Vroom snow rally with Shumi , Massa, Kimi and Badoa, its probably a publicity stunt.

And random question is the Abarth S200 a Grande Punto ?

Jan.13 (GMM) Ferrari has no problem with Kimi Raikkonen contesting Finland's famous Arctic Lapland Rally later this month, team boss Stefano Domenicali has insisted.

Formula one teams often baulk at drivers' requests to engage in dangerous off-season activities, but it emerged last week that Raikkonen, the team's title winner of 2007, has entered himself as the driver of a Fiat Abarth S2000 in the event later this month.

"This is the traditional attitude we take to our drivers," Domenicali said at the launch of the team's new 'F60' single seater for 2009.

"We always try to have a very open attitude to what they do. I see this as an extra two days of testing for Kimi."

Besides Räikkönen there´s going to be three other (ex)formula 1 drivers competing in Arctic Lapland Rally! Häkkinen, Mika Salo and JJ Lehto.

At the moment Kimi is 16th overall. And he´s the fastest F1/former F1 driver taking part.

Edit: correction, Kimi is second fastest F1 driver, JJ Lehto went past him and is now 13th.
