Back from Christmas in London (don't ask --but wait, I'll tell you anyway :D ). 10-15 cm of fresh snow here and temps between -5°C and -10°C. *brrrr* when coming from plus temperatures. The macchina was parked in the garage on the 23rd and has not been moved since.

Been snowing like crazy over here (as well) for the past two weeks and I have giving up with the snow shuffling, will be another 10inch of snow on the driveway when you wake up the next day. Luckily for us one of our neighbours bought a Quad Bike a few months ago, he mounted a snow plough to it and is now driving around the neighbourhood helping people with the ploughing of their driveways. He is a terrible driver, however.

Driving around on that thing like a bat out of hell (when he isn't out ploughing), coming around corners in true Colin McRae spirit:icon_thumleft: and have already hit the same lightpole twice. I have a feeling that paying for a cornering and braking course would be a good investment for next winter.

Have not taken delivery of the Giulietta yet, when I ordered the car I was told it would be here mid-January. The delivery date has been forward twice and as it looks now I will take delivery by the end of February.

I expect further delays; the Giulietta appears to be popular and about 50 cars has already been ordered at the dealer where I bought mine.

The weather seems to be improving over here, today we had +6C and sunshine. Maybe we guys up in the Arctic is in for an early Spring;)

Thanks. We don't have winter tires but they are 295's on the back of both cars so they do pretty well in the snow. We don't usually have this much snow around here, in fact, it seldom snows here. We have had more snow the last 2 years than we've had in the previous 30 years that I've lived in Texas.

I came home frome Rome last night and we had SNOW there:eek: Everything was closed because of the smallest amounts of snow I have ever seenlol Colloseum, sixtin chapell everything closed and also schools etc... Cars where driving with snow chains in the streets lol It was maybe 2cm of snow at the most, and it melted at oncelol Temps around 0-3 C :mad: The last two days where nice tough... sunny and temps from 5-10C but still everything was closed because of some small spots of snow in the shadelol

Looks like southern Norway has weather that is closer to the greek weather than in neighbouring Tampere, Finland :icon_thumleft: I love this sunny weather, alltough it has turned below zero in the nights again:)

I agree; that is WAY too hot Pethead! I hope it has cooled down a bit now! Having said that, it's about 11C here in Northeast Scotland with hail stones and thunder, which is perhaps a bit too cold! lol

It's never right, is it! :confused:
