Hello from North Wales, Sport or Lounge?

Hello am about to place an order for a new 500 and am unsure which to go for looking at the lounge 1.2 or sport 1.2. Am not a big fan of the glass roof or interior on the lounge but dealer pointing me towards it over the sport due to slightly higher spec.But the missus wants the decals on the roof and the sport looks slightly better. Any opinions would be greatly received.

Yes finally made it sadly can't afford the Arbarth, as after using the 500 as our 2nd car as we run a Jeep grand cherokee as main car and I ride a Suzuki Hayabusa when the snow goes!!!

Thanks for your really quick help in getting me on here. I think I will opt for the sport but just wanted some feed back from people who have owned a 500 for a while.

Yes I agree but must be happy for me and the missus so we are trying to configure one that we both like:icon_thumleft:

At the minute it is a sport in white with red side and roof decals and the 16 inch 5 spoke alloys and split rear seat as not standard on sport but is on lounge.lol

But still might change having another chat with the dealer tomorrow.

I have the sport with electric sunroof, and I love it, and since the import company in Norway only offer the lounge spec now it makes the car a little special. But I really hate having to miss out on the luggage rack with the snowboard mount on the rear. (doesn't fit because of the spoiler)

Nicer speedo and the black interior looks better IMHO

Thanks for that Cyberdog The dealer I went to told me that they probably sell 1 sport to approx 40 lounges. So I think that makes the sport a better bet as it is rarer. If that makes sense so can personalise it more and less chance of seeing the same. lol

Hello gixer! I have a 1.2 lounge and I like the ivory interrior, but dislike the black and white chequered seats. Sport with 1.2 engine is not on sale here, but if it was i`d propably have gone for that with some extras, mostly because it offers better head room for me as a tall guy. Also the sport has better seats as standard. The extra i would opt for would be chrome trims because they suit the 500 well!
