Hello there! We're replacing my partner's car we've just sold. Andy wanted a 1-series coupe, but I have been trying to persuade him that there are better cheaper more fun cars out there. Today we looked at
the 500 Abarth first - more later
then the Kia Soul - we both liked but its too big for our needs
the Mito - test drove and very disappointed by it
the BMW 1-series - solid but dull and they had no coupes to look at
And then, on the way home, he asked if we could go back to see the Abarth! Never seen him so excited about a car for a long time! Unfortunatly, the dealer doesnt have a demonstrator yet as they've only been open a matter of weeks, but we are on the waiting list to drive one as soon as it arrived!
So, with any luck, we'll be ordering one very soon!

I think we'll have one ordered sooner rather than later if my other half has anything to do with it lol

I have it for 13 months now and I love it more every day, I usally change cars in 12 months top, but I will keep my little Abarth for ever, BTW the esseesse model/kit is the way to go, more details on our Abarth forum! :)

I'm not sure on the esse esse pack. Mainly because our roads in the UK are shockingly bad, and the cost really. Besides, from what I understand, its a dealer fit so can be added later!
I think the only other problem I foresee is my partner and I disagreeing on the colour lol

You can find all the details about the SS kit on our Abarth forum, yes you can ad it on later but within the first 12 months or 20.000km (ask your dealer about the ml limit in UK) all available colors looks nice on the Abarth :)

ahh cool. Im not sure its something we'll be going for either way. Majority of our journeys are town work anyways, but we want something fun and different :)

Hey Stevie! I've not been on here for ages and when I do come back you're moving in on my space! lol
Oh you should totally get the Abarth, then bring it to my house and let me drive it!! :D
I def think the Abarth is the best of all the cars you've looked at. If you get one I'll be soooo jealous but we can start our own little club up here in Scotland :D It'll be like the smart club all over again :p
I'm sure the dealer in Springburn had a demo Abarth so send Andy through there and get the deal done :icon_thumright:
Speak to you soon!

Hey, yeah I think we'll be getting one. We had a brief test drive this afternoon, absolutely loved it! We're just waiting on finance quotes, and we'll see how it goes from there really.
Deffo have to get a wee meet going on! I'm over on the abarth forums, do you remember fishbone? he's one there!
Oh, seen this and thought of you ;)

:welcomeon500: I do hope you get the Abarth, as they are soooooo much fun to drive! I don't have the essesse kit on mine, and I don't think I will. Major factor is what you said, the roads here just aren't truly catered for something that special :D
